At Young & Well, we know that the decisions you make as a parent have an impact on your child’s future.

That’s why we provide you with accurate, thorough, and clear information about your child’s strengths and needs so that you can make decisions that lead to the best outcomes for your child’s life and your effectiveness as their caregiver.

Parents aren’t given a parenting manual when their children are born, and sometimes, navigating what their children need to be their best selves can be overwhelming and deflating.

Young & Well is here to support caregivers and provide clear answers and guidance when things don’t go as planned so that parents can feel refreshed, empowered, and secure in their parenting choices.

Psychological Services

At Young & Well, we offer an evidence-based collaborative team approach to support young people, their families, and their schools with information, guidance, and education so that they can make informed decisions in all areas of the child’s life.

  • Our psychological and neuropsychological assessments are designed to capture a young person’s true nature, strengths, and capacities to understand their needs and the best support for reaching their full potential. We communicate the results in a beautifully clear, thorough report and a 90-minute virtual review with caregivers. We connect the dots, explain the “why,” and prioritize a plan for you to take action in an uplifting and empowering process.

We understand that a child’s needs don’t always start and stop when they change environments, so that’s why we offer the perspective of both a school psychologist and a medical diagnosis for the most comprehensive and useful results in every evaluation.

  • For ages two to five, our comprehensive developmental assessments include a school psychologist, occupational therapist, and speech-language pathologist to evaluate all areas of your child’s global development so that you can take the appropriate action in the most critical years of your child’s life.

  • We can provide you with the assessment requirements for the admission process in the most cost-effective, efficient, and quick way needed.

  • We offer testing accommodation documentation for anything from graduate Board exams to general testing accommodations.

  • You will never feel alone with our special education experts supporting you in knowing your and your child’s rights and navigating the eligibility and IEP process. We empower and support you both through review of documentation and support at school team meetings to advocate for what your child needs in the school setting to reach their best capacity.

  • Unsure where to turn for the next steps? Are you confused about the results of an assessment, and need support understanding? Need support in decision-making? We can support your parent journey in deciding what your child needs for their future.

Too often, young people are put on long waitlists to ultimately receive results that are not true to the child’s needs or with standardized recommendations that aren’t effective for creating the change needed for the child to succeed.

This risks poor outcomes and caregivers feeling disempowered in a process that should give answers, provide guidance, and be empowering.

We promise to evaluate your child within three to four months so that you can have the answers you need to create an effective, realistic, and accurate plan for your child’s future.

Don’t let your child have another birthday pass without the important information you need to make decisions about their future. We offer the tailored and targeted approach you need to be the best parent to your child to do what’s best for them.

What We Assess

What families and schools say about our reports

  • True Picture

“We receive many evaluations for our students each year, and I wanted to reach out to Young & Well and let you know that your report is the first we can say captures this student. It was incredibly accurate to what we see, and you did not simply go through the motions. I know this is in part because you actually come observe the student in class. We can use these recommendations to help this student, and we rarely find this. I know the parents feel the same way. Thank you for getting it right.”

  • Fears Turned to Plan

“Wow. We just reviewed the results, and I had to tell you how grateful my husband and I are for how carefully and thoroughly this was done. We started and have been in so much fear, and now we feel empowered with what we can do to help our son. We did not expect this outcome, and I believe it is because of your approach. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • No waiting for the results

“We were previously on a waitlist, and my daughter had yet another year without us having any information about what she needed. We have been in crisis mode, and waiting felt like we would not make it. When I heard you had a short timeline, I jumped at the chance, and now I know this is what we needed all along. We received the school and medical diagnosis, which means we have recommendations and support for home and school. I wish I had known about you sooner.”
